Meet Sokar 🤍🐈

Sokar is a beautiful Baladi cat, while feeding her I noticed that her mouth was in a terrible condition with a severe infection and an extremely foul smell

She was suffering from severe mouth ulcers, gingivitis and dental inflammation

After taking her to the vet we discovered that she had calicivirus and needed treatment to help her recover

Sadly the calicivirus has caused her to lose some of her teeth and one of her remaining teeth needs to be extracted because it is unstable, as long as this tooth remains in place, the infection in her mouth can keep coming back again and again

Her treatment plan included 3 weeks of medical care, followed by tooth extraction and spaying during the same surgery so she wouldn’t have to go through anesthesia twice🙏🏻

This sweet girl has already been through so much and I really hope this treatment finally gives her the relief she deserves🥺🤍
