How much does dog adoption cost?

How much does cat adoption cost?

There is an adoption and service fee of 400 EGP (or equivalent). This amount includes Leaf Animals’ service fee and post adoption support. This fee is not refundable if adoption is not complete.

What is the adoption service fee for?

Our service fee includes a range of backend work that includes a vetting process, a 60min interview, coordination between the potential adopter and the person that has the animal, as well as life long post adoption support, soruces, follow ups, recommendations, discounts and more.

We work thoroughly in order for the process to be efficient and for the placement of the animal to be successful. This process takes time and requires a certain amount of attention.

Why do I have to go through an interview?

The interview is an important part of the adoption process to ensure a suitable match between the potential adopter and the animal. It allows us to assess compatibility, gather information about your lifestyle and experience, and address any concerns or questions you may have. The interview also provides an opportunity to guide you and tell you about responsible animal guardianship and discuss the long-term commitment involved. Ultimately, the interview helps ensure that the animal is placed in a loving and permanent home where their needs will be met.

Ensuring videos meet our force-free guidelines is complex. Low-quality videos can also diminish an animal's visibility and chances of adoption.

Why do you ask for home videos in adoption and foster applications?

We request home videos to understand the environment the animal will live in, aiding our adoption coordinator in offering tailored advice. We don't do home visits due to our small team size. Videos, viewed only by the coordinator, are deleted post-decision, and we never request detailed home addresses.

Not all animals on our website get their own social media posts. To get your animal be eligible for a special post, they should have enough information on their profile and the photos should align with our photo guidelines.

We adhere to a specific sequence for our posts, so even after adoption, the post stays up to maintain the consistency and flow of our content.
