Toffee is a house cat who was dumped on the street, she showed up under our building in a very bad condition where I feed the street cats every day

She was severely dehydrated, anemic, suffering from blood parasites and fungal infection, when I took her to the vet, her temperature was 40, she was suffering from severe diarrhea, her smell was unbearable and weighed only 1.8 kg💔

Her fur was extremely matted and tangled with patches that had been pulled out so the vet had to groom and shave her

Because of her very low weight and some pigmentation on her skin her vet was also concerned about a possible thyroid or diabetes issue. He ran tests for both, and thankfully, everything came back clear🙏🏻

She is boarding at premier vet clinic under treatment but sadly her recovery is taking longer than expected because of her condition and weak body

Even after a month of treatment for the blood parasites, she is still positive and severely anemic. Her vet advised that she will need approximately two months of treatment and proper care before she is strong enough for her next steps

Once Toffee is back on her feet, we’ll vaccinate her, spay her and have her dental work done so she can finally start her new life healthy and safe🥹💗

I am also looking for a foster or forever home for Toffee once she recovered, she deserves a safe, loving home after everything she’s been through🫶🏻
