We noticed that one of nousa’s puppies has discharge from his eyes and nose, we started by cleaning the eyes, put eye drops as we thought that was an infection from dust where they first found. It didn’t work out, and every day we found his eyes closed because of the discharge from the eyes.

Unfortunately the same sign started shown on the other puppies, and then clinical symptoms have been noticed on them gradually! Like coughing and Lethargy.

Took them to the vet and sadly they have developed a fever, their temperature between 39 to 40.2

Unfortunately 5 puppies out of 6 puppies from Nousa’s pack tested positive distemper, their condition is very critical now and need to start the treatment as soon as possible to recover, stand on their feet and return to their mama’s hug.

They need to be isolated from their mother and the 6th puppy as thankfully Nousa and the 6th puppy tested negative. They will be under monitoring too.

We found a clinic that accepts distemper cases and they have an isolation room for distemper virus.

They are currently boarding at (United vets of Egypt) clinic in New Cairo for 7 days at least to 14 days depending on their response to the treatment.

I hope they respond better to the treatment, as they have been through a lot and too much to handle for their little bodies🥹

UPDATE: Unfortunately the 5 puppies died 🥲, they couldn't survive. But i still have their uncovered bills and need to pay the bills.
