Nousa is a lovely nursing mom with 6 puppies (3 weeks-old), was found in a very bad condition, weak body and stopped eating.

We did CBC test, blood parasites test and test for liver and kidney functions. Unfortunately she tested positive blood parasites (Ehrlichia).

She is also suffering from anemia, high ALT and AST so her liver is highly infected.

She needs to take medication for 28 days the soonest to recover and needs to stop breastfeeding her puppies.

After 28 days of treatment will repeat the blood parasites test, CBC and liver function analysis again to make sure that her blood parasites test’s result is negative and fully recovered.

Her 6 cute puppies eat fresh food only as unfortunately breastfeeding is not an option now in her case.

She is currently boarding at a clinic (European veterinary center Dr Hisham Sarhan) with her puppies under treatment and observation for 10 days, then she will be moved to another boarding facility for a month to continue her medications, as she needs a spacious room to stay in with her puppies not a cage. They need more space to move around freely while growing up.

And I will spay nousa once recovered.

UPDATE: Nousa and her survivor puppy need to be vaccinated as soon as possible to avoid catching viruses like her 5 puppies (died from distemper virus unfortunately) to be able to survive.

UPDATE: Thankfully Nousa has received the needed treatment for blood parasites and liver issue, we did tests again (CBC, Liver analysis and blood parasites) after treatment and she tested negative blood parasites🙏🏻

UPDATE: While observing her we discovered that she is licking her vagina regularly and it is puffy and reddish, her vet already checked on her and she is recieving treatment now for this inflammation (medication and vaginal wash), but she needs to undergo spaying, her vet will take biopsy during this and will send it to the lab to be tested to make sure that it is not TVT hopefully🙏🏻

UPDATE: Nousa has been neutered at Pets Pal Veterinary Clinic (Dr Amr) and she is doing fine thankfully, she has been returned next day after spaying to Ahd&Fatima to take her medication (after surgery care) and will be under observation for 2 weeks there after spaying to make sure that she is healing completely and her vet dr amr will check on her every now and then.
Her vet took biopsy during surgery and already sent to the lab, it takes around 14 days to share the result.

UPDATE: unfortunately nousa’s biopsy result is out, she is diagnosed with TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumor) and she needs to undergo chemotherapy the sooner the better.

She needs from 4 to 6 sessions (1 session per week) depending on her response to the treatment.

She will undergo chemotherapy at Pets Pal Veterinary Clinic Dr Amr, while she is currently staying at Ahd& Fatima’s medical boarding with her puppy as we dont want her to stay in clinic’s boarding to avoid putting her under stress during chemotherapy journey as chemo will already affect her immune system.
