This beautiful Himalayan kitten was sadly dumped inside Al Thawra Tunnel in Korba. Tragically, he was then run over by a car, leaving his right leg severely injured with two fractures.
He urgently needed surgery, and thankfully, the operation was successfully performed on August 29th. Pins were inserted to stabilize his leg and give him the best chance of walking normally again.
His aftercare will now be extremely important to ensure that his leg heals properly and that he is able to walk on it again.
He will need one and a half months of boarding, costing 450 EGP per day. This includes IV fluids, antibiotics, wound dressing, and daily medical care.
Every two weeks, he will need two X-ray shots to make sure that his fractures are healing correctly. Each X-ray shot costs 500 EGP. He will need six X-ray shots throughout the month and a half, bringing the total X-ray cost to 3,000 EGP.
He has also tested positive for blood parasites and is currently receiving treatment for this.
