Batates is an inspiring survivor!

When we first met her, she suffered from severe mange that took more than 6 months for her coat to be fully healed.

Later on, during her spay surgery, the vet discovered she carried dead puppies inside, which was a heartbreaking complication that could have cost her life if it had not been found in time.

Before she had even fully recovered, she was hit by a car and suffered a fractured leg. Which she bravely recovered from with a slight cute limp.

As if that wasn't enough, Batates faced abuse from ignorant people who wanted to sell her because they falsely believed she was a “breed”.

To keep her safe, we moved her to a boarding facility, where she has been waiting for nearly two years for her loving forever home.

Through every hardship, Batates has remained gentle, brave, calm, and full of love. 🫶🏼🐾
