Little puppy boy of 3 months old, with broken shoulder, is in need for help. We (work colleagues) were feeding her, her mom and siblings and she was unfortunately hit by a running tuktuk (as per the shop owners in the area)!!
Unfortunately, we only found out few days later (after a long weekend) she was on severe pain and was starting to have difficulty pooping, as she could not stand on her broken shoulder.
We moved her to the vet to get the necessary care. The X-ray shows a broken shoulder and she will need a surgery to fix the damage (with two surgical screws). During the examination process, she was not crying but was trembling out of pain. She also had an inflammation around the broken shoulder and ulcers on her belly . She is currently undergoing medical treatment before the surgery. She will need two weeks of post-surgery treatment (including medications to restore her bones) and two weeks more to contain her movement until her full recovery to avoid any sudden movement that might cause damage to the surgery. We hope afterwards to find her a home, as she is a very sweet girl. We decided to call her Candy.
