Sponsor FAQs
This page explains how the Sponsor System works in more detail.
Please read this before submitting or managing a sponsor case.

We host a maximum of 6 active sponsor cases on the platform at any given time.
This helps us:
-
Give each case proper visibility
-
Avoid overwhelming donors
-
Increase the chances of successful fundraising
When a case is removed, a new case takes its place.
-
Out of the 6 active cases, a maximum of 3 can be non medical boarding cases.
This ensures a balance between:
-
Long-term cases (boarding)
-
Urgent or time-sensitive cases (medical, surgeries, etc.)
Boarding is essential, but this limit helps give all types of cases fair visibility.
-
Some cases may include both.
To keep the system fair and organized, each case is assigned one main category based on its primary goal:
-
If the main goal is treatment → it is considered a medical case
-
If the main goal is ongoing housing → it is considered a boarding case
This helps maintain balance and prevent overcrowding in one category.
-
If your case reaches its full amount:
-
The profile is removed
-
You can upload a new case right away
This allows urgent cases to be resolved quickly and opens space for other animals.
-
If the case does not reach its goal:

-
It stays active for the full 3-month period
-
Then it is removed automatically and can be re-uploaded after 3 months
-
Yes, but only after a 3 month waiting period.
Once a case is removed (whether it collected the whole amount early or not):
👉 It must wait 3 months before being uploaded again
This rule applies to all cases.
Sponsor cases are shared in weekly rotation:
-
One case is highlighted each week
-
The following week, a different case is posted
-

This means your case will not be posted every week, but will rotate with other active cases.
This approach increases focus and improves donation outcomes.
-
Please don't rely on Leaf Animals only to raise funds for your case.
We ask all Uploaders to actively support their own cases by sharing, posting, and reaching out to their network.
Leaf Animals provides visibility and support, but successful fundraising depends on combined efforts.
The system is designed to:

-
Give each animal a fair chance
-
Prevent the platform from being overcrowded
-
Support both urgent and long-term cases
-
Allow new animals to enter regularly
-
We understand that many cases can be urgent, but we host a maximum of 6 active cases at a time and cannot make exceptions once the platform is full.
Adding more cases would reduce visibility for the others and affect their chances of receiving support.

Urgency is not always only medical, some cases may be urgent in other ways, such as safety or wellbeing.
Please wait until a space becomes available so we can keep the system fair for all cases.
