Simsim is the sweetest one-year-old baladi. He was born in El Rowad, Sahel, where he was found all alone as a tiny puppy in September 2025. He grew up surrounded by a small group of year-round residents and off-season visitors who looked out for him, fed him, and genuinely loved having him around. He became such a special part of the community, and so many of us are deeply attached to him.

He is smart, gentle, and naturally friendly with strangers, children, dogs, and even cats. He loves playing with other dogs and is great at approaching and introducing himself to them. He also loves an occasional chew!

Unfortunately, once summer started and Rowad became much busier, Simsim was no longer welcome. Not everyone treated him kindly, and orders were given to remove him from the compound. He is now staying at a training center and learning to walk on a leash, but he isn’t doing well in the confined environment and needs to leave as soon as possible.

Simsim has been loved by an entire community, but what he really needs now is a person or family to call his own and a safe, comfortable, permanent home.
