Rita is a 5 month old puppy (born July 22, vaccinated). She’s a dogo argentino/pitbull mix, so she will be a big girl when grown. She’s very sweet, playful, and loves being around people. She is not house trained yet, but quickly learned to sit, and she is very eager to please and will be easy to train. She’s always excited to meet new people and immediately asks for belly rubs. She will make a great companion or family dog, she just needs a little patience, training, and lots of love.

Her ideal home
I think Rita would do best in a home with a family who has experience with larger dogs and experience training dogs. A yard where she can run around and play, or a family who is able to take her for daily walks would be best. Rita has shown great potential with training but she is not yet house trained. I believe she will do well if left alone in the home for a few hours once she’s house trained. Given her size and energy, I would recommend that she only be around older kids.
