Nero, though a bit on the heavier side, is an affectionate and delightfully goofy soul who will undoubtedly warm your heart with his endearing antics. He is use to sleeping on the couch and loves to have belly rubs. Nero has thrived in the presence of humans and has always lived with children and cats. He has always been fine with our cats (although this was not reciprocated) but will chase a stray (although never physically touched one). With other dogs - sometimes he's friendly and playful, other times he gets snappy, so it is difficult to say whether he would be okay in a home with other dogs. He spends time both indoors and freely in our garden. While he is gentle, it's crucial that children understand the importance of giving him space during mealtimes. He's a true family member who enjoys tagging along on holidays, relishing moments of togetherness, and he's an enthusiastic swimmer – nothing brings him more joy than splashing around with his loved ones. Nero takes his protective duties seriously, often barking/growling at unfamiliar faces or perceived threats passing by his garden. He is familiar with basic dog commands, such as sit, lie down, out/go, fetch it, wait/stay and eat. Nero is up-to-date with vaccinations, deworming/defleaing treatments, and is desexed. He has never had any medical issues.
