Meet Louka

Louka is a beautiful 3 years, Baladi–German Shepherd mix with a calm, gentle nature and excellent manners.

I rescued Louka from the streets on October 26, 2025, after finding her frightened, hungry, and searching for a safe place away from danger. Despite everything she had been through, she immediately showed a sweet, trusting personality. She is now safe and receiving excellent care at Ahd & Fatima Boarding while she waits for the loving family she truly deserves.

Since her rescue, Louka has continued to prove what a wonderful companion she is. She is calm, emotionally balanced, and exceptionally well-behaved. Friendly and sociable, she enjoys being around people without being overly demanding for attention, making her an easy and enjoyable dog to live with. She appreciates affection and companionship while also being comfortable relaxing independently.

Louka has a healthy appetite and is not a picky eater. She loves playtime—especially chasing balls—and enjoys spending her days staying active before settling down to rest. She is adaptable and comfortably makes herself at home wherever she feels safe.

She gets along well with other dogs when introduced respectfully and appropriately. She has also been tested with children and has shown herself to be gentle, patient, and well-mannered around them. Although she has not lived with cats, her calm temperament suggests she could adapt well with slow, supervised introductions.

Louka travels calmly in the car and behaves very well during veterinary visits. She is confident, resilient, and adapts easily to daily routines. Like many dogs, she simply prefers a calm environment over excessive noise.

Louka would thrive with a family that appreciates her gentle, independent personality and can provide regular exercise, kindness, and a safe, loving home. In return, she will reward them with unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and unconditional love.
