Lelo started his life as a street dog, so we don’t know his exact breed, but he definitely has the look, vibe, and intelligence of a true Balady dog. He’s fully vaccinated and has grown into a loyal, affectionate companion. Before moving to the dog farm (almost a year ago), Lelo loved sleeping next to his humans and was always very protective—he knows how to alert his people when something’s not right.

He’s used to having guests at home and gets very excited and playful when people come over. With some training, he can learn to manage his excitement better if that’s important to his future family. Lelo didn’t grow up around many dogs because he didn’t go out on regular walks, but he’s improved a lot recently and has gotten used to being around other dogs. Still, he’s very selective—he’s picky about who he wants to play with.

Lelo loves bath time but isn’t a fan of the hairdryer. In summer, his favorite thing is to sit in a bathtub filled with water to cool off. He also loves plush toys and is not a picky eater—he enjoys almost any food! He’s used to going potty on grass and should be kept on a leash until he’s fully comfortable in his new environment. Because his life has changed so much over the past year, he needs a patient, loving home that can give him the stability and safety he’s been missing
