Despite what he’s been through, Dahab is now a healthy doggie who is incredibly gentle and trusting. He adores being around people, not in a demanding way. He’s the kind of dog who simply wants to be near you, calmly following you from room to room or resting close by while you sit.

He enjoys playtime and loves water splashes and probably swimming, but he’s not overly energetic. A good mix of fun and peaceful companionship. We believe Dahab would thrive in a loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and never left behind again. A spacious home would be ideal for him, and he wouldn't mind living with another dog.

He is very chill and more interested in spending time with humans, getting cuddles than exploring. He listens to requests. He is also very well trained in car rides. Can go in and out on request and knows to remain on the couch. He is very quiet and did not bark the whole day despite many new scary things. He is very friendly and does not mind big crowds. He is food motivated (more than play)

He also is not reactive to dogs at all, there was a wild dog pack in the wadi and he remained curious but close and did not react at all.

Would be WONDERFUL with kids Bgd. He is a big stuffed animal basically. He understand sit, come, yalla, la2 w ta3alla very very well.

His energy would be perfect for:
1) a family with kids
2) an old person
3) anyone who wants a couch dog that wants cuddles more than walks or play time

Also knows his name. HE IS PERFECT 😭😭😭.

He is not a good choice for anyone wanting to get a play buddy for their dog hahaha he is not interested in dogs

Dahab was sadly dumped from a car and left alone in front of a mall in the 5th Settlement. Thankfully, he was rescued in time and treated for blood parasites, then moved to a boarding facility to heal and prepare for a new chapter.
