Chase is a remarkable 1-year-old German Shepherd × Egyptian Balady mix who overcame a tough start to become the ultimate companion. Rescued from a highway with a leg injury that has since fully healed, he also survived the heartbreaking loss of his mother at a young age. Despite this trauma, Chase is healthy, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has passed his Titer test (RNATT), making him completely ready for international travel.
He is a vibrant, intelligent, and highly social boy who treats everyone as a friend. In fact, whenever visitors arrive at the shelter, Chase acts as the ultimate welcoming committee, always running to the front to be the very first to greet them with an open heart. He is incredibly gentle with children, highly playful, and absolutely loves the company of other dogs.
When it comes to his habits, Chase has a uniquely endearing way of showing affection. He craves human connection above all else and will softly reach out to place his paws on you - never pushing, leaning hard, or jumping up, but just offering a tender touch to ask for love. He is exceptionally low-maintenance and easygoing when it comes to food and treats; for Chase, a high-value reward isn't a snack or a toy, but pure attention and physical affection. He simply wants to be close to his humans, whether that means resting his head in your lap or acting as your loyal shadow. He is not just looking for a shelter, but a true forever family to hold onto.Very friendly
