Qamar (or Amar meaning Moon in Arabic/English version: Luna) is a 5 months old female Egyptian Baladi. When you lock eyes with those big eyes and the shiny coat, you get the feeling of looking into the midnight sky. See the moon emoji 🌗 black with hints of gold will always remind you of her.

She is a rescue who was loved and cared for by everyone ever since the day she was born along with her mom. Sometimes, we would joke and say that she came to this world to receive pets and attention.
She miraculously (trust me when I say she is a miracle baby) survived a tragic accident, but the brave little soul never stopped fighting her pain, playing or giving love to the humans around her. She has that strong Baladi immunity and soul even if one of her back legs healed a bit funny. She cuddles, runs, plays and gets the zoomies like any other dog.

Favorite thing in the whole wide world? cuddles, belly rubs and playtime. She is a social butterfly

Favorite food? Qamar will literally eat anything and she has a great appetite, but if you have a plate of wet food don’t expect her, the queen that she is, to settle for less. Also, if you have guests, expect her to pretend that she hasn’t eaten in days to get those treats. She doesn’t have any issues with food or allergies. Those Baladi genes are incredible when it comes to health and immunity.

Favorite toy? Amar has a secret magical ability and that is to turn anything into a toy. Expensive toy? A toy with a treat? She loves it!! Anything that can bounce around? She loves it too.
There won’t be a dull moment with her and she is the kind of a dog who makes you smile and forget about the world. She knows when you feel sad, and she won’t quit till she makes you smile.

Amar has this habit of making cute squeaky noises when she sees her favorite humans. The tail wag, little hops/jumps and cute dances are crazy. Remember…you can easily be her favorite human if you have wet food, willing to play and pet her. She wants to befriend and play with all humans and animals including cats and small and large dogs. She is literally everyone’s friend!

She ADORES cuddles and belly rubs.

She is usually not shy, but even if she got a bit shy around specific/new people/animals, she opens up and lightens the room with her fierce soul. Being the smart girl she is, she is highly adaptable and easily trainable.

She is fully vaccinated and will be spayed (if age appropriate) before she gets to her new home. Spaying is very important because pregnancy isn’t the best option with her back leg.
