She is shy at first, but once she gets to know someone, she becomes comfortable being held and stroked. She is always very active and playful, especially with other cats and the kitten she is closest to. She is well used to living with cats of different ages and genders and gets along very well with them.

In June this year Stella suddenly became unwell. Her movements became uncoordinated and she became unsteady and unstable when trying to walk.

She was taken to the vet for observation and investigations; including an x-ray and blood test but the cause was not found.

She was started on a course of Anti-inflammatory medication and Vitamin B complex, and we saw immediate improvement to her condition.

Other than a slight jerkiness to her movements she is back to her normal friendly, affectionate and playful self. She is continuing on Vitamin B injections 3 times per week.

In October she will undergo an operation on her blind eye, to remove the tissue remaining inside the eye and close it. This will prevent her from having reoccurring eye infections.
