Coco eats three times per day—a combination of dry food twice a day and wet food once a day. He likes his routine, but he’s also very flexible. He enjoys having his freedom and being able to come in and out when he wants.
His favorite activities are napping and playing hide-and-seek. He loves being around people, so an environment similar to a retreat center or community space would be perfect for him. He’s very calm and quiet, but he’ll definitely let you know when he wants something, like food or to be let outside.
He’s very resourceful and independent, so he can stay by himself for extended periods of time and take care of himself with minimal supervision. He’s extremely smart, runs very fast, and knows how to protect himself around other animals.
He hasn’t really been around dogs, so they do scare him, but I feel that with a little time and training, he could adjust.
He’s incredibly loving and loves being cuddled, hugged, and kissed. I adopted him when he was five months old, and we’ve spent most of his life together, just the two of us, so he’s much more comfortable around women than men.
We’ve moved several times, and he has always adjusted perfectly fine and very quickly. However, he doesn’t travel particularly well. He doesn’t enjoy long car rides or being in his carrier, so I typically give him calming treats to support him whenever we have to travel.
