Rumi was found on the streets of Cairo seven years ago, in rough shape and very much alone. He was abandoned by his previous humans.
He is one of the calmest, most gentle cats you'll ever share a home with. There's something about a senior cat that younger cats simply can't offer, they're past the chaos, past the testing boundaries, past knocking everything off the counter at 3am. What you get instead is this: a cat who just wants to be near you. Quiet and steady and grateful for the life he has.
Rumi is affectionate without being demanding, gets along well with other cats, and has never been anything but easy. He has spent seven years giving loyalty and love to the person who gave him a chance. He has so much more of that left to give, he just needs someone willing to receive it.
Senior cats are so often overlooked in favour of kittens, but they are some of the most rewarding animals to adopt.Should be the only animal in the house
