Burrito is a baladi rescue dog, I rescued him since he was a puppy. he is very unique, and he has the personality of a cat :)
I am looking for a foster home for him for 6-7 months starting from end of September or beginning of October. I can provide for his food / vet expenses if needed.
(yes all of his pictures are of him sleeping because he is not doing anything else)
he has always lived with another cat and dog.
He does not get along with all male dogs (selective with males), but he does get along with any female dog.
he walks on leash (he is a bit reactive to dogs / cars / motorcycles) and eats things from the ground. so we always have to be careful about his walks. ideally the foster home would be located in somewhere thats not too crowded because then it would be too hard to walk him.
he should absolutely not walk on with his collar. he will immediately escape. we only use a harness because he is an escape master :)
He does not like toys, he LOVES beds and couches. at the house, he mainly sleeps alone or in a corner, he likes kids but may get a bit too excited when they are playing with him ( he likes to jump and lick their faces)
he loves food but a picky with vegetables. he currently eats dry food or fresh frozen food 2 times a day with treats in between. he loves enrichment toys with food inside.
he needs to pee a lot so at least 3 times a day.
he takes showers at home when necessary. he does not like going to a groomer or anyone who would force him to be groomed. he will be terrified. I shower him at a roof or garden where he is not contained because he is also scared from bathrooms (i am not sure why)
he is very low maintenance dog, he is just a bit stressed when he goes outside but thats it. in the house he is an angel. he would come and try to sit on your lap like a cat.
he does not like car rides so much. if its a long ride (more than 2 hrs), avoid feeding him before it as he may throw up.Should be the only animal in the house
