Your Animal's Details

Puppy Lulu's story began months ago when she and her two sisters suddenly appeared in our neighborhood without their mom. We used to feed them daily for months until one day in February we found Lulu alone whining and unable to move at all. We're still uncertain of what really happened but all vets assumed she was a victim of a hit and run. Lulu suffered a sever spinal cord injury which caused immobility and nearly paralysis in her upper body. For the first month and half from her accident she stayed in two different clinics both sadly did not do her good and caused her many bed ulcers that took months later to heal.

I took Lulu home on April 11th, the most affected arm from the accident became totally stiff and immobile but that did not stop her and now she's learning to walk on three and progressing. She was declared a lost cause by vets but we never gave up on her and she proved them all wrong. Lulu came home malnourished and weighing 7kgs at five months old, now she's nearly 13kgs at 9 months old. We only gave her the food and love that she needed and she did all the work herself!
