I found Ziggy on the street under my office building 4 months ago with a broken leg. She was only 2 months old at most by then. Along with other dog lovers on the street, we were able to nurse her back to full health. Around a month and a half ago I decided to take her in because I couldn't bear the thought of something happening to her on the street, because she was actually hit by a motorcycle when her leg was finally healing.
She's a graduate of the Mahmoud Fady Dog Academy, so she’s got most commands down at this point. Sit, lie down, stay, leave it, place.
She’s a lovely and loyal pup, really smart. I’d ideally love to find a permanent home for her because she deserves the best. She's great during walks, and she loves going on them. She'll always try to help by lifting her left leg up to put through her harness when we're getting ready for walks, and starts jumping around with excitement the second she sees me put my shoes on.
An absolute angel in the car (I've never seen a dog behave so well and calmly in a car).
She loves her toys, albeit that she destroys them. She'll alternate between toys every 3 minutes, and will not stop until there's no stuffing left inside them, it's adorable. Loves to cuddle, to a point where she has no concept of personal space. She's just happy all the time.
She will eat anything and everything. She has no specific preference. If there was a competition for how fast a dog can finish its plate of food, she'd win every. single. time.
