Ravy is a French griffon, very energetic and playful, loves to be with people. He is potty trained, his owners used to walk him daily at 7pm, so he will need the same (either a space like a garden to go potty or a daily walk). He eats both home made food as well as dry food. He adores children and loves playing with other dogs. Ravy is vaccinated and got all his meds, Very very clean doggy and very fluffy. Not neutered but I'm happy to cover the costs of the surgery.

Hello, my name is Ravy, I’m a French griffon and I’m 7 years old. 6.5 to be precise. I live with a very nice family but the lady is sick and her health is deteriorating, so we’re looking for my next forever home. I hope I can find someone who cares for me as much, plays with me, takes me on daily walks, considers me part of the family, gets me treats. Honestly, I’m used to be treated like a little prince.

I love kids and other dogs. Cats are a different story. I tried to play with them but they don’t get it and start hissing at me. Maybe I’m taking my playing too seriously and this scares them. But when they start hissing it scares me too, so I try to avoid them.

When I go on my walks, which I enjoy so much and wait for, I can get a bit too enthusiastic. But if my lady asks me to take it easy, I oblige. I might forget quickly though because the street is an exciting place, all these car tires to mark, all the plants to sniff. What can I do? I’m very curious and I love new impressions.

The lady has a grandson that visits her often and I adore him. I like small people like him and they like me too. We play together for long long hours and I don’t get bored. So different compared to cats. Kids I do understand and love and they don’t hiss. Very nice crowd.

Usually when people see me, they start petting me and saying how cute I am. I keep hearing “sokkar sokkar”. I really like that, so I reply back in kind and let them express all their love and admiration and give them some too, like kisses and huggies.

Oftentimes my family travels and they take me with them. I love a good ride, especially sitting in the back seat and putting my paws on the driver’s shoulders or their co-pilot and admiring the road ahead with them. Of course if they don’t mind that. The ride is as exciting as a walk for me, with all these buildings and people passing by so quickly. So many things to see!

There is one thing I dislike more than cats: being away from home. It makes me very sad and sadness makes me itchy. I heard my owner talk to my doctor when I was scratching my thigh too much because I have been away in another place while they travelled. He told her I have a very strong separation anxiety, he even used the word depressed. I guess this thing called depression makes me very very itchy. I don’t like it. And I wish I could be with my family wherever they go but I understand this is not always possible.

I don’t want to brag, but all in all, I’m super sweet and easy going. And I can't wait for my new home, friends and activities.
