Meet Bondok, a one-and-a-half-year-old Baladi dog who is full of life and energy. He's up to date on all his vaccinations and has been trained by EastWind. Bondok is very playful and lively, and he knows basic commands well. He’s been potty trained effectively and rarely has any accidents inside the house.
Bondok enjoys the company of other dogs and attends daycare weekly, where he socializes well in a controlled environment. He also lives with a cat, and they have grown up playing together. However, he still tends to bark at street cats when encountered outside.
Despite his training and socialization efforts, Bondok does have a challenging character. He can be quite anxious and territorial, often barking at unfamiliar sounds around the house. He finds strangers particularly intimidating and can become protective of his home, taking time to warm up to new people. While he may get a bit aggressive when anxious, he has never bitten anyone before.
Bondok’s new home should be experienced in handling dogs, especially those with his specific traits. He's not spayed yet, and while he is a smart dog who understands commands well, he needs a patient and caring environment that can continue his training and help him feel secure. With his strong attachment to familiar environments and people, Bondok will thrive in a loving home that can offer him both structure and affection.
