Floki was 2 weeks old when i found him in Heliopolis, August of 2022. His eyes were severely infected by a herpes virus as the vet informed me later on that day. He could not see, move or eat. His mother rejected him to avoid having him transmit the virus to his other siblings. So i took him in my home, treated him according to the vet's instructions ( antiobiotics , vitamins and eye ointment) in order to hopefully save one eye that was looking better than the other one which was completely destroyed. After 3 months of treatment his right eye became somewhat not in a dangerous state but he cant see with it, and the left one had to be removed to avoid contaminating his entire body. So he underwent surgery and got his eye removed. Other than his eye situation, Floki is a healthy cat, fully vaccinated, playful and likes to cuddle. but on his own terms because he scares easily. He uses his other senses to navigate my home, he is so smart and uses the litter box since he was 3 weeks old. So im looking for a home for him where he could safely live in peace because he is cute and deserves to have more attention than what i am able to provide at this moment.
