Cookie is a one year old male cat that has been saved from the street in a critical condition while he was only 3 months old. We took him and went to the vet and he was suffering from inflammation in the mouth that caused him not to eat for a week. We committed to the medications required until the end. And along the journey of medication we discovered that he has stomach issues that requires him to only eat soft food most likely wet food. He is fully vaccinated and neutered.
He needs a forever home as my home is not a cat proof, it is not suitable for him. I don't have enough finance to foster him until he finds a forever home and I can't give him the time and attention he needs at this time as I have a full time job that requires me out 12 hours a day. Cookie is a very loving cat but suffers from separation anxiety he doesn't like to stay alone. He likes attention and is very active and he requires stimulating games most of the time. He likes to explore and hunt and needs an environment that safely can provide him his needs. I need a to find him a forever home and in the meantime I need a sponsor too for his food. The person who adopts him needs to be patient as he is very scared and takes time to adapt to new environment. They also needs to be experienced with cases like him that has been saved as he requires special treatment due to what he suffered from in the streets.
In the mean time and until he finds his forever home, I am looking for sponsor or any kind of support with his finances as due to his stomach condition he only eats specific types of wet food which requires 4000 EGP pounds monthly only for his meals.
In addition to his other needs like litter, treats, and monthly dose of advocate for flees and ticks. It's too much on me as i can't provide everything and i am trying my best to give him a decent lifestyle.
