This is Farid, we named him after Farid El Atrash because he’s deaf. We found him screaming on the roof of an under constructed building next to ours and we couldn't resist climbing the fence and up to the roof to catch him and just as he saw my husband he ran right to him. We think Farid got lost or thrown out of a home and we tried hard to find it but we unfortunately did not get any responses.
We got Farid checked at the vet, he’s less than a year around 7-8 months old and doing great, just had a minor eye infection from being on the street but we took care of it and he’s almost completely healed. He’s the sweetest most gentle guy and he came out of his shell real quick and started getting snuggly and playful. We thought of keeping him but our resident cat doesn’t seem to like having a companion at all and he would love to have a playful mate. We also have my father’s dog she comes and stays sometimes luckily she was with us for a couple of days and seemed with time and proper introduction he could easily be friendly with a cat friendly dog in the house.
Farid got his dewormer and anti flea and vaccines. Despite of being completely deaf, Farid is just as any cat can be and maybe even a bit sweeter. He eats, potties, plays, snuggles and purrs all with extreme sweetness and purity. Farid needs a loving and gentle parent to love him forever and give him all the play time and love he deserves and preferably to have a kitty brother/sister to play with.
